Why I am a Designer
I am a designer because I find
happiness in creating something out of nothing. I think visually about
everything. I enjoy solving problems, whether they are my own or someone else’s,
and when I find the proper solution I feel instant gratitude. I am a designer
because visual communication is extremely important in the world we live in
today and I want to help make that communication as effective and beautiful as
possible. I am a designer because I have always paid attention to detail and believe
that every where we look has design involved.
I also have always needed to
express myself in a creative outlet since I was younger whether it was with
art, photography, or choreographing dances. I have translated this specific
quality of myself in to graphic design because of the many outlets and
opportunities that it allows. I enjoy the idea that I can use the skills I have
developed with software to enhance an idea and project that I am working on or
I can stray away from that and still use my hands and other materials to
complete it. Graphic design allows a lot of freedom and choice and I believe
anything is possible with it as long as you stay confident and hungry for more.
