I was inspired by the ideas of these projects. The first
project is about the creator’s attempts to deal with a variety of inner
conflicts: the limits of what can or should be visualized. Now, I do not have a
completely refined idea of what I’d like to do my capstone project on, but I do
know I want it to reflect my perception of myself and certain struggles I’ve
faced. I like the simplicity of this project and how the creator shows intense
emotion and decisions through minimal design.
The second project shows the public self and the private
self and how we show certain sides to ourselves in different situations. In
certain times in our lives we show both but its really rare. And in a lot of
cases as humans, we cant do a perfect part of hiding everything we would like
to hide which ends up showing what we may not want to. I enjoy the creator’s
expression with paint to show human figures with distorted lines and colors
escaping from various parts of their bodies. I am no way a painter or plan to
paint, but I appreciate this piece a lot.
