Bieri: Proposal and Timeline

Project Summary

I would like to make a series of 13x19(?) posters. There will be five total. Four of them will feature an individual Beatle, and one will feature all of them together.

Concept/ Subject Matter
I want to create these posters as a celebration of the Beatles and all the barriers they broke. Additionally, I think it might be a good idea to portray them individually as well as together to show how they had their own ideas and passions, but worked together to create something magical (in the form of Beatles music). Maybe this can be achieved by just having the four individual posters? I’m not sure. I think I want to portray them as they were in 1966-1967, because that is the time when I believe they were at their greatest creative peak (when the Revolver and Sgt. Pepper albums were released).

This concept was derived from two "events"- a class called Beatles and the Creative Process that impacted me greatly, and my initial desire to become a designer in the first place- so I could make artwork for bands/artists.
