Hayley Gallat
I chose to be a designer so that no aspect of my life will
ever be unfulfilled. I want to be able to constantly do creative things without
limitations. There are set rules to design but they can be bended in the most
obscure ways possible. I have always admired people who have tasteful opinions
on what looks good visually and I want to live up to those same standards as a
person. My love for drawing and illustration has driven me down the career path
of design and throughout my time at DePaul I believe that I have successfully
merged the two into an art form that I would be satisfied doing for the rest of
my life. Creativity is something that composes my identity and I work my
hardest to create fulfilling and inspiring works. I have chosen design to be
apart of this identity, to go hand in hand with illustration and my creativity,
and choose to work my hardest at creating the best designs I can.
