Cool typography thesis
This thesis was all about looking at and creating text in a new and unique way. Channeling her inner elementary school girl and getting a little dirty. Going back to a time when we all figure painted and played with blocks.
For my thesis project I am planning to create a lifestyle book for college students including food, cooking, fashion, apartment necessities, what to do on your first day of classes, and much more. Basically passing on any and all wisdom I have come to have since enrolling at DePaul.
I want the book to be made with various mediums. This thesis Play is a good example of the variety I want in my book; to try and look and work beyond the keyboard.
I-Am-Portland
I Am Portland is a street style book based in Portland. The creator includes interviews from people whom she thinks has great style as well as photos of them. The layout of the book is very clean and classic looking.
I want to incorporate a fashion element into my book. The aesthetic of the book is what I liked the most about this thesis. It is very classic and clean looking.
Milwaukee-Dame
Dame is a publication aimed toward strong and inspiring women. It focuses on fashion and how to dress well.
This thesis lends a similar hand to what I want to put into my book like I Am Portland in terms of the aesthetic. I like the way the outfits is laid out on the second spread.
