Cargo Collective Senior Thesis Examples - Leung

I showed this one in class the other week, but I'll throw it on here for posterity's sake.

I really enjoyed how the writer goes through the history of calligraphy and how he walks the reader through the life of this artist, Niels Shoe Muelman. From what I read, Muelman modernized the traditional form of calligraphy. The work in the book also shows a good amount of script type, which I think stems from the background of calligraphy. Simple design for the book, but the work is the focus here and it looks great.

This second project shows exceptional craft and the results are really attractive book covers. All are done in this distressed illustrative style that is just perfect for the books. The packaging design was also a great addition, if I actually saw this in stores I would probably pick it up.
