This project was very inspirational for a number of reasons. I really like how Lauren made such a simple, yet elegant and useful application. It's awesome that Lauren was able to find a great use for her senior project, as seen in the pictures of the children enjoying her creation.
The idea that she had is very simple, and like Lauren, I think that I want to be able to have a functional application for my project.

This project was also very inspirational to me. Unlike Laurens' project, this project focuses more on the expression of the artist rather than serving as a useful application such as building blocks for children. However, this project really grew on me after looking at it for a bit due to it's overall message. I really think having a book is a bit of a cop out in terms of overall ease of creation, however Kait really outdid herself by creating such a beautiful work focused on her very own existence. I really like that she did something so personal to herself, and I may try to trigger some of those same feeling existentialism in my own project.
