Definitely looks thought out and like you're on your way. I would revisit your logo, maybe check out some things from designspiration.net or from logo books. Also, I think incorporating the social events into more of a paragraph style instead of listing them would make it more compelling. I wonder if maybe one of those stood out to you the most and is something that really inspires you? Looks good!
