I like the idea of doing a wine label project because there are so many cool things that you can do with that packaging. I think this would be a good opportunity to go outside of the norm and experiment with some other kind of logos. It's still early in the process and I'm sure that you would be able to come up with so many different ideas! Each label is a chance for you to flex totally different skills so think about doing something really out there (maybe each label is completely different with only the logo staying the same?) instead of having the logo and the kind of wine listed below it. Really go all out!
I think you can go a little further on the design of the labels. It's great that you made your own stylized type for the logo, I would just push yourself further!
I think in this project you are focusing on the typography. I like the typography you choose, yet you can reduce the size of the subtitle a little bit. It will look better.
